Good Manners

If we won't learn how to love people who follow Jesus, then we won't know how to love people who don't.” - You Version Bible

There is a command (a divinely ordered direction) in the Bible that says

, “Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love.” Romans 12:10 KJV. We should not have a cold, standoffish attitude toward one another. Have you ever met someone who acts like they can't even look at you when being introduced? And let's not even mention that weak handshake that feels like you're shaking a wet noodle; they could be so bothered! That's that standoffish behavior, or what I call a bad, stank attitude. As believers, we are commanded to be kindly affectionate to each other, right? I'm not even talking about non-believers, but us—those who know God; we who should know better. Yet we treat each other this way! Others see this display of poor manners among us and think, “Wow, if they treat each other like that, how will they treat me? Do I even want to be a part of this?”

People, we have to be careful. Folks are watching! This is a call on our lives, a call to simple good manners amongst Christians. Let's represent God, show them how it's done. Show them what love looks like! It looks good on you!

I love ya'll for real!
