Soil Check Before Sowing

Hey love bugs! As a plant girl I know all too well about plants. I'm borderline fostering a mini jungle in my home! A friend texted me the other day and told me to stay away from Shoprite because they just put out some beautiful plants. Well, it was too late because I had already been to Shoprite and saw them but I had restraint. I turned my head and shut my eyes as I passed them by! Y'all, I need a twelve step program, I'm just saying. Any who, I know how extremely important the soil is to the plant. Sometimes you buy a plant and it flourishes and sometimes you have to change the soil because the plant is struggling. I say all this to say, sometimes you're sowing seeds, sowing into a person, a ministry, or a personal project, and you find that you're not yielding a successful crop. Some things have fallen at the wayside, things became rocky, or distractions have taken over, wrapping around your seed like thorns! But hold up, wait a minute! The master gardener's got you boo! (check out Mark 4: 3-9) This is the thing, it's never the seed that's sown but the kind of soil it falls on. Check your soil before you sow! All soil ain't good soil! 🎤
I love y'all for real! I'm Coach Char, your Devotional Diva here to keep you grounded in your class, character, and inclination in Christ. Smooches! 💋🐞
